Todd and Bethanie Wetzel

I am a native Utahn majoring in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry at Utah State University.  I have been keeping amphibians and fish ever sense I can remember.  I first began my professional career working as a Salt Water Specialist in a local aquarium store, where I created unique tropical aqua-scapes, as well as maintaining them for many years.  I discovered my real passion, building rainforest eco-systems in early 2003, where poison dart frogs were the inhabitants.  Two years later I started Tropical Ecos. I have been creating unique tropical environments ever sense, as well as breeding a wide variety of poison dart frogs.

In mid 2007 I met my wife, Bethanie, we dated for a little over a year and then were married.  She has been very helpful and has become a big part of Tropical Ecos.  She is a quick learner and also has a love of animals.  She is majoring in Business at Utah State University.
